Privacy Policy

Simple TODO is a local task-management app. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled. The short version: your tasks stay on your device. Simple TODO has no account and no sign-in, and we never receive, store, or transmit your tasks. We do collect anonymized product-usage and crash diagnostics to keep the app working well — never the content of your tasks (see Analytics & diagnostics below).

Data Simple TODO stores

Everything you create in Simple TODO is stored locally on your device only, using your device's standard app storage. This includes:

• Your to-dos — their text, due dates, priority, and completion status.
• Your app preferences, such as the chosen language and light/dark theme.

Simple TODO does not require an account, name, or email, and it works fully offline.

How the data is used

All processing happens on your device. Your tasks are saved locally so they are there the next time you open the app. They are never sent to us or to any server.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your tasks with anyone.
• We do not use your tasks for advertising or marketing.
• We do not transmit your tasks off your device or to any server.
• We do not require an account, name, or email to use Simple TODO.

Analytics & diagnostics

To understand how Simple TODO is used and to fix problems, the app sends anonymized product-usage and crash diagnostics to our analytics and crash-reporting providers, Google Firebase Analytics and Google Firebase Crashlytics. This includes:

• Which screens you open and which controls you tap (for example, "added a task", "changed the sort order") — behaviour only, never the content of your tasks.
• Crash and error reports (such as a stack trace, error type, and device model and OS version).
• A randomly-generated, anonymous device identifier so these events can be grouped — it is not linked to your name, email, or any account (Simple TODO has none).

We do not send the text of your to-dos, their due dates, or any other task content to these providers, and we do not use this data for advertising. We use it only to improve the app.

Your control

Because Simple TODO stores everything on your device and nothing on a server, deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. You can also delete individual tasks, or clear completed tasks, from within the app at any time.

Data retention & deletion

Your tasks are stored on your device and are never kept on our servers, so there is no task data for us to retain. The anonymized product-usage and crash diagnostics described above are retained by Google Firebase for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted. To request deletion of any data associated with your device, email resources@thetinyapp.com and we will action it within 30 days.

Children

Simple TODO is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
